Secretary General: Lei Geng

 耿雷，中国科学技术大学地球与空间科学学院教授，博士生导师；欧盟玛丽·居里学者，基金委“优秀青年基金”（2018年）获得者。2006年本科毕业于中国科学技术大学，2012年博士毕业于美国南达科塔州立大学，其后分别在美国华盛顿大学大气科学系（2012-2015）和法国国家研究中心冰川与地球物理环境实验室（2016-2017）进行博士后研究工作。2017年6月入职中国科学技术大学。主要研究方向包括冰芯气候环境记录，冰冻圈雪冰和大气化学，硫、氧同位素非质量分馏（？¹⁷O、？³³S、？³⁶S）原理及应用，大气活性氮循环等。目前希望推动海冰变化和大气化学的交叉研究。已经在Nature，PNAS，GRL，ACP等期刊发表多篇一作和通讯作者论文。

Lei Geng now is a professor at the University of Science and Technology of China. Before that he was a Marie-Curie postdoctoral fellow in LGGE-CNRS, and before moved to France, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington. He started my science career in polar research 12 years ago when he was a graduate student, and his first project was measuring major ion species of the brittle ice of the WAIS Divide ice core. Form that he knew he is at least good at cutting ice. His primary research interest is using unique isotope proxies combined with ice core records to study the interactions between atmospheric chemistry and climate. He is also interested in the effects of sea ice surface emissions on atmospheric chemistry and climate. After moving back China, he is now also looking forward to working on snow and ice cores from the Third Pole, i.e., the Tibetan Plateau, aiming to understand the exchange of ozone and pollutants between the stratosphere and troposphere at present and in the past.
