Dr. Chunlan Li is an Associate Professor at the School of Geographic Sciences, East China Normal University (ECNU). She holds leadership and service roles in several professional organizations, including Member of the Women Scientists Working Committee (Preparatory) of the Chinese Society of Cryospheric Science, and Member of the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Committee of the 13th Council of the Shanghai Meteorological Society. Her research interests span climate change and cryospheric dynamics, sustainable development, polar geopolitics, geography education, and classroom teaching behavior, with a focus on integrating physical geography with social and educational dimensions. Dr. Li has led ten research projects funded by national and provincial programs and participated in ten additional projects as a key contributor. She has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in leading domestic and international journals and actively engages in interdisciplinary collaboration. Her contributions to research and education have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Shanghai “Super Postdoctoral Fellow” Talent Program and ECNU’s “Excellent Postdoctoral Fellow” Talent Program.
