Longjiang Mu is a professor at Laoshan Laboratory, where he leads a team dedicated to polar research in physical oceanography and sea ice. His research focuses on numerical modeling and prediction of sea ice and ocean dynamics in polar regions, with a growing interest in high-resolution modeling in recent years. In 2014, he participated in his first Arctic expedition as part of China’s 6th Arctic Scientific Expedition. He has since established collaborative partnerships with researchers from various countries.
